Gobble Gobble

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and I hope that everyone is planning on sharing it with someone special. We are hosting a few friends at our place for the day. It is sure to be a fun time full of great food, and just as great company.

A little update on what we've been doing. Last week we got certified as SCUBA divers. It was a week long class in the evening at a pool and two full days of open water diving in the ocean. It was a lot of fun. The class was small, so we got a lot of individual time to work on skills. On our ocean dives, we made it down to a max depth of 47'! I was really excited about that. We were able to see some good sea life, including a gigantic sea turtle that must have been 3'×4' big. Such a treat to experience. The one drawback from all the diving is that I developed a pretty painful case of swimmer's ear. I have never experienced something as uncomfortable than this. Very hard to sleep and constantly throbbing. I went to the doctor last night, and am doing ear drops, so it should be gone within a week.

Our next big plan is coming to the East Coast for Christmas. Cait will be flying out earlier than me to go visit a friend in Hotlanta, and I will be flying out Dec 21. We will be on the Cape till the 30th. I hope we get a change to visit with all our loved ones. If not, please come and visit us!

Hope to see you soon
