Kaua'i brief

Update,
I uploaded all the photos from our adventures. Here they are. Sometime maybe i can get caitlin to do a synopsis.

We went to Kaua'i a week ago and i've been diligently processing the photos. but to tide you over until they are all up, here are a few of the best ones so far.

Haouli Makahiki Hou!

We had a pretty low key New Years. Hung out at home, rented some movies and watched the neighborhood fireworks. These aren't just your regular mom and pop neighborhood sparklers. People in Hawaii are serious about their fireworks. The house down the hill from us were constantly setting off fireworks from 6pm till 1am. no joke. It was actually a lot of fun to sit on the deck and watch the show.

We bought a couch this weekend. Finally! I don't have to sit on the floor becuase we only have one chair. It's very nice, but it shows just how small our apartment is. hopefully this apartment isn't permanent.
