Who did what when

So the past few weeks, a lot has gone on.

Caitlin went back to the east coast to visit with family and friends. Kyla and Jake were also on the east coast, and Pattie and Mike threw them a wedding shower. That was the main reason for Caitlin's trip.

Meanwhile in the middle of the pacific, our cat Kit Kat finally made the trek from cape cod. it was very stressful, but she made it safely and seems to have settled in nicely.

This weekend, for my birthday weekend, we went hiking with some ultimate friends up Kuli'ou'ou ridge on saturday. it was a very fun hike. one of our more strenuous hikes, but the top was great. you could see all the way from diamond head along the gold coast & hawaii kai, to the other side at wiamanalo, and kailua.

Sunday I played ultimate in the morning, forgot to put sunscreen on and burnt my face, and then went to Sandy Beach on the east side. it was our first time there, it is a great beach. the shorebreak is huge, and is a lot of fun. a good bodyboard spot, but unfortunately i don't have fins yet, so i wasn't about to go out in it just yet.

Caitlin made me an amazing dinner of seafood lasagna and brownie sundaes. all in all a great way to start my 27th year of this adventure.
