Long post for the fans

i was super excited to come to caitlinandmark.com today and see that there were comments! i am amazed to know that someone has wasted their time to come and see our little place in the world wide web.

ok, so anyway, little update, nothing too exciting. had a weekend full of adventures.
friday night, we went to a house warming party for one of cailtin's co-workers. nice place in dorchester. i came late, cause i had a ticket to friday nights red sox game that got rained out... but more on that later. so i made my way to the party, only after i got mega lost trying to go the "backway" which included a scenic tour of J.P., Rosalindale, Milton, and Hyde Park. but my amazing scense of direction finally got me there. so yada yada yada, i get there, party is fun, good food, good people, time to leave... it's POURING out. we are driving cait's friend alison back to allston. the cabrio has been known to not do too well in the rain. we get all the way to the fenway when the car decides it doesn't like all the wetness anymore. so we stall out and i manage to pull her over to the side of the road. good thing cait has AAA. so after like 1hr or so of trying to start her back up and waiting for the tow truck (1:30am ish) Jermaine and his big tow truck finally are able to bring us back to our apartment in brighton. what a night.

Saturday included trying to get the cabrio dried out/ started. talked to cait's dad mikey, he said it prolly just needs to dry out. so after many failed attempts at trying to start it, she finally starts up, only to dry as soon as i try and move her. BAH! but we finally, finally got her running. stupid rain. the rest of the day included going to the laundromat, did i mention i hate laundry and laundromats!? and going to the gym (i joined the Oak Sq. YMCA this week that cait has been a member at since july or so) Saturday night we went to a bar in the south end (Clery's) to watch the game with friends. fun times, except for the fact that the red sox got SPANKED. it was just plain embarrassing. so bad that we didn't even stay for the whole game. we left the bah around the 6-7th inning.

Sunday cait and i went out shopping. i'm not so much a fan of shopping, but i made it through with relatively high spirits. went to the gym again that night, went swimming this time in the junior olympic pool there, but i forgot my goggles, so i didn't swim too long. ate dinner and watched the game, which turned out to be a damn good game. but LONG.

so here i am monday... with hopes of going to the resheduled game i missed friday night. but alas, when i get to work i am told i have to give my ticket back and i can't go. see, our firm does the renovations to fenway park, and we get tickets sometimes to playoff games. and i was given one for friday nights game, but it got rained out, and i had to give it back cause one of the principals wanted to use it. man, that was a bummer, i know it wasn't my ticket, but it still sucks. it's just like the relationship people have with the red sox. you have these high hopes, only to be smashed when it starts to look like they are going the right way.

so anyway, i'm going to go home and watch the game on the tele now. wow, that was the longest post so far! one of these days i'll get cailtin to post. it's really not that hard. i think she's a little shy.
